Daughter of Shinsegae President to Debut in THE BLACK LABEL’s Co-Ed Idol Group
Moon Seo-yoon, the eldest daughter of Shinsegae Group President Jung Yoo-kyung, is set to make her debut as a K-pop idol under THE BLACK LABEL, a music label founded and led by producer Teddy. The announcement was made public on June 9 through THE BLACK LABEL’s official social media platforms.
The new idol group, titled ALLDAY Project, will debut as a co-ed ensemble, featuring both male and female members. The lineup includes Youngseo, an ex-member of HYBE’s girl group ILLIT, rapper Jo Woo-chan (formerly of BIGHIT and known from Show Me the Money 6), renowned dancer Bailey Sok, model Lee Chae-won, and Moon Seo-yoon herself.
Moon Seo-yoon is a granddaughter of Shinsegae Group Chairwoman Lee Myung-hee and the niece of Vice Chairman Chung Yong-jin. Her involvement in the K-pop industry had previously been the subject of speculation when photos of female trainees at THE BLACK LABEL, sparking rumors of her participation in Teddy’s girl group, MEOVV. However, she will instead debut through this newly formed mixed-gender group.
In a promotional teaser video, ALLDAY Project’s message emphasized innovation and individuality, stating:
